Ridesharing and Taxis in Los Angeles International Airport
No matter what sights you plan to see, whether that be Santa Monica Pier or Griffith Park, you'll have no shortage of options when travelling from LAX! Uber, Lyft, and Opoli are the authorized services at LAX, and drop-offs for them, as well as taxis, happen on the upper/departures level as usual. All rideshare vehicles should have their respective company logo sticker on the front and back windshields. Rideshare pick-ups for all three companies are instead restricted to the LAX-it lot, next to Terminal 1. You can follow the signs and walk there or take the free LAX-it shuttle, which arrives every 3-5 minutes under the green signs.
